Luznica near Zagreb

The baron Levin Rauch estate

The castle can be seen from the road which leads from Zapresic to Slovenian border. The most beautiful features of the Castle are its cylindrical towers that have always been part of the residential area, and have never been used as part of the defence system. Richly ornamented iron balcony fence gives to the caste an exquisite touch and at the same time shows the initials of the last owner of the estate – baron Levin Rauch.

Trip to Pregrada

Awakening of the nature at Count Keglevic

At the end of every winter my friends and I go and visit Kostel, a ruined medieval castle at the Kunagora mountain, near Pregrada. Before every Easter the household troops of Kostel prepare hand-made firelocks; also the troops organise shooting that greets the arrival of Easter and awakening of the nature.

Varazdin – the Baroque town
